Shincha Yabukita organic 2026

With an elegant umami aroma, our Shincha from the Spring 2026 harvest convinces us.
In the second and third infusions, this note transforms into a more mineral character, which, however, remains just as long-lasting in the mouth.
Compared to our other 2026 Shinchas, this one is unobtrusive and elegant.
A smooth cup, also suitable for the morning.

The Yabukita cultivar is characterized by its very early harvest. This cultivar, alongside the Yutakamidori cultivar, is the most common cross in Japan and enjoys great popularity.
In Shizuoka, this cultivar accounts for almost 75% of the plants found there.
The well-known Okumidori and Saemidori cultivars, by the way, were bred from this cultivar.

This Shincha is excellently suited for the Mizudashi preparation method (cold brew).
