Since 2004, The Queen Camellia Tea House has been based in Lucerne. The tea house was founded by Mahesh Sharma, who continues to lead the company as its owner to this day.

For more than two decades, we have dedicated ourselves to tea with passion and commitment. Our particular area of expertise — and at the heart of our business — is Assam tea. Through many years of experience, we have developed an in-depth understanding of the region’s tea gardens, harvests, qualities and processing methods.

We know that an exceptional tea is about far more than a beautiful leaf. Origin, terroir, weather, harvest timing, cultivar and processing all shape its character and quality. This knowledge, together with the long-standing relationships we have built with our partners, forms the foundation of our work.

Our team also brings many years of experience and extensive knowledge of tea. Together, we carefully select our teas, placing particular emphasis on quality, authenticity and distinctive character.

Alongside our particular expertise in Assam, we also have a deep passion for exceptional teas from China, Japan, Taiwan and other renowned tea-growing regions around the world.
