Shincha Yutakamidori Organic 2026

Long-lasting, creamy and beautifully sweet, our Spring 2026 Shincha is a captivating green tea for true tea enthusiasts.

Made from the Yutakamidori cultivar, it reveals a rich umami character with a velvety texture and lingering sweetness. With the second and third infusion, the cup gradually shifts towards a more pronounced mineral character, while retaining its remarkable length and persistence on the palate.

Yutakamidori is known for its particularly early harvest and is one of the most widely cultivated cultivars in Japan alongside Yabukita. Its distinctive character and early harvest make it especially popular among Japanese tea producers and enthusiasts.

This Shincha is also exceptionally well suited to Mizudashi preparation, bringing out a cool, delicate and refreshing side of the tea.
