A 16-year-old post-fermented tea from China, carefully aged for 16 years after production. This extended maturation has allowed the tea to develop a remarkably smooth and balanced character.
In China, post-fermented teas of this style are known as Shou Pu’erh. They are distinguished by their deep, dark infusion and characteristic earthy, mossy notes.
Character: Earthy, mellow and smooth, with a deep, rounded body and a soft lingering finish.
