Oriental Beauty

Oriental Beauty is an exceptional Oolong tea from Taiwan, belonging to the more heavily oxidized varieties of its kind. Its uniqueness lies in a natural process: the tea leaves are nibbled by small leafhoppers, which triggers a chemical reaction that gives the tea its characteristic honey sweetness and fruity aroma.

The dry leaves display a multi-layered play of colors including white, green, yellow, red, and brown, while the infusion yields a bright orange-red cup. In terms of taste, Oriental Beauty combines notes of ripe fruits, blossoms, and sweet honey, accompanied by a soft, round body.

This rare tea is mainly produced in northwestern Taiwan and is considered one of the island's most characteristic specialties.
