Lung Ching Shi Feng (Pre-Qingming)

Shi Feng, translated as Lion's Peak, is considered one of China's most coveted green teas.

This tea is so valuable that it is a popular wedding gift among wealthy Chinese people.

In the province of Zhejiang, in the capital Hangzhou, there is a large lake known as Xihu or West Lake. Along its banks are various villages where tea farmers produce the best Lung Chings. Very young shoots are picked, which are then hand-pressed in steel pans and simultaneously heated.

This Lung Ching is very invigorating and captivates with its nutty, chestnut-like character.
