Kamairicha organic

A rare Japanese green tea produced using a traditional Chinese-style method.

Unlike the steaming process commonly used for Japanese green teas, the leaves are carefully pan-fired to halt oxidation. Interestingly, this method was once part of Japan’s own tea-making tradition, before steaming became the dominant approach.

Rarely produced today, this tea captivates with its remarkably persistent character. Its intense aromas range from fresh, grassy notes to delicate nuttiness, accompanied by a pleasant natural sweetness.

This tea is one of Julian’s personal favourites and a particular highlight within our selection.
