Instead of the steaming process commonly used in Japan, the leaves are pan-fired. This reflects an old traditional method once used in Japan.

A very rarely produced tea, distinguished by its long-lasting and complex flavours.

This tea is one of Julian’s personal favourites. Julian is a member of our team.

The flavours range from intensely grassy to nutty, with a pleasant natural sweetness.
