Jin Zhu Mao Jian Organic

Jin Zhu Mao Jian is a fine Chinese green tea, best known for its delicate, wire-shaped leaves. The name can be understood as “Golden Bamboo Hair Tips”, referring to the elegant appearance of its young shoots.

Harvested in early spring, when the buds are still tender and rich in aroma, the tea is carefully pan-fired to preserve its fresh, vegetal character. In the cup, it is clear and gently sweet, with a soft grassy freshness and very little bitterness when brewed correctly.

The infusion is bright green to lightly yellow in colour and remains remarkably consistent in aroma through multiple infusions.
