Our Assam smoked tea comes from our own production at the Hatidubi Tea Estate and is gently processed and then smoked with natural woods.
Smoke notes reminiscent of whiskey make this tea a great accompaniment to cheese dishes such as fondue or raclette.
The smoky character is not overpowering but complements the typical Assam notes.
It is said that this is how the first tea from this region around Assam tasted, when people hung the pressed leaves over the village fire and they gradually absorbed the smoke.
