Gyokuro Grade 1

For years, our tea farmer in Nara, Kyoto, has supplied us with some of the finest Gyokuro.

Made from the renowned Yabukita cultivar, this Gyokuro captivates with its pronounced sweetness, deep umami and rich, authentic aroma. The carefully shaded leaves produce a silky, full-bodied infusion with a long, lingering finish.

It can be enjoyed both hot and cold, revealing different facets of its character with each preparation. This makes it an exceptional companion even on warm summer days.

Of our three Gyokuros from Nara, this one was harvested the earliest, offering a particularly fresh and vibrant expression of the first harvest.
