Golden Yunnan Organic

Yunnan is widely regarded as one of the historical origins of tea. Although geographically part of China, much of the tea produced in Yunnan is made from the Camellia sinensis var. assamica tea plant.

Yunnan teas share both visual and aromatic similarities with the black teas of Assam. However, they tend to be softer and sweeter, with a gentler caffeine character, while still retaining the distinctive malty notes associated with Assam-style teas.

This makes Yunnan black tea a particularly pleasant choice for the morning, especially for tea drinkers who prefer a softer and more mellow cup.
