Big Red Robe (Rock Tea)

Big Red Robe comes from the same tea plants as the famous Da Hong Pao from the Wu Yi Shan Mountains in northern Fujian Province, China.

Highly aromatic and remarkably persistent on the palate, this tea reveals a rich and expressive character. A gentle charcoal roasting gives it a subtle, elegant smoky and ashy note, adding depth to its flavour.

The tea is heavily oxidised and roasted, giving it excellent stability and making it particularly well suited to long-term storage. With proper storage, its character can continue to develop over time.
