Organic Bancha

Harvested later than many other Japanese green teas, Bancha naturally contains less caffeine and is known for its slightly higher mineral content. This contributes to its distinctive, gently mineral and subtly metallic character.

The leaves are coarser and less vibrant in appearance than those typically found in Sencha. In the cup, Bancha is mild and pleasantly vegetal, with soft savoury notes and a delicate mineral finish.
