Anji Bai Cha

Anji Baicha is an exceptional Chinese green tea from Zhejiang Province. Despite its name, “Baicha” meaning “White Tea”, it is botanically a green tea and is renowned for its rare, pale green leaves.

The tea plants are harvested only during a short period in spring, when the young shoots display their characteristic, almost jade-like colour. This distinctive appearance is the result of a natural seasonal change in the plant’s chlorophyll levels.

In the cup, Anji Baicha is remarkably fine, clear and elegant. Soft and gently sweet, with an almost creamy texture, it reveals a delicate freshness and very little bitterness. The infusion is bright green-golden, with an exceptionally pure and tranquil aromatic profile defined by its clarity and finesse.
